Wooden Drying Racks ~ Make Garden Stakes

If you use wooden drying racks, you may find them breaking from time to time.  Why not recycle them?

We use them consistently, especially during winter, when we dry laundry in front of the wood burning stove.

I had 3 racks that were beyond duct tape and super glue.  I took them apart and used them for tomato stakes.

They are not the tallest, or the strongest, but are working out well for my Roma tomato plants.  They would work for small plants such as pepper plants as well.

Organize Drawers With Canning Jar Boxes

Save and reuse your canning jar boxes with inserts.  These work great for storing cell phone charging cords.

Use them to store children's socks or other items in dresser drawers.

TIPS:
~Save bread twist ties or produce rubber bands to keep cords organized.

~Use duct tape to cover box inserts to make them last longer.

~Cover the box with leftover wallpaper or large sheets of duct tape.

~Decoupage the box and insert with old magazine pages or other scrap paper.
